It
is a small piece of fabric like stole, which has elaborate religious
and geometrical designs all over. In Himachal Pradesh, tribal
women of Lahaul and Spiti district wear this upon 'Cholu'. It
is draped on the back and over the shoulders and is tied up with
'Bumni' near the chest. Now it is adopted as a modern fashion
in the sophisticated and cosmopolitan society.
