Grass Shoes are locally called 'Pullas' used as footwear in the homes and outside. The sole of the grass shoes is made from natural fibre called 'Bhang' (hemp). Bhang is a wild bush. The fibre is procured from its bark. The upper part of the grass shoes is made up of goat hair. However, nowadays, acrylic yarn is also used due to its durability and a colorful appearance. Upper part of the grass shoes is knitted with hand in beautiful segments according to the designs. The size varies from small to large. It is used inside the places of worship where leather shoes are not allowed.
