It is of lighter, lesser wide woollen fabric, which can be draped around the neck by men and women. It keeps the neck and the chest warm from cold. It has elaborate designs on both ends. All designs and patterns of shawls can be woven on the scarves. There are three types of woollen scarves- (1) Mufflers (2) Tube Mufflers (3) Scarves.

Mufflers
This is a lesser wider fabric with designs on both sides on both ends. Size- .30 m x 1.70 m (Men) & .40 m x 2 m (women).

Tube Mufflers
Tube mufflers are obtained by cutting up one shawl into two pieces, along the length and further sewing each piece into a tube. This muffler is warm and snug and has a body that helps it to sit well on the user. Size- 0.25 m x 2.0 m.

Scarves
It is a piece of fabric measuring 1 m x 1 m folded from the corners. It is worn on the back and knotted at the front.
